| SCHEDULES: 1. - The conference schedule shall be a round-robin schedule with all schools competing against one another. 2. - It is strongly recommended that four USGF judges with optional ratings be used at each conference meet. If this is not done, the visiting school(s) should be contacted. 3. - The coach of the home school is expected to call each of the visiting coaches the week prior to each conference meet and confirm arrangements. DUAL / TRI MEET PROCEDURES: 1. - The four Olympic Events (vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise) will be scored. 2. - There shall be eight competitors per event in dual/quad meets. Coaches may substitute for an injured gymnast after competition has begun. The replacement shall receive warm up time. 3. - Team scores shall be determined by adding a school's top four individual scores in each of the four events. 4. - All policies set forth by the OHSAA Gymnastic Board shall be followed. 5. - No special awards will be presented at any conference meets other than the Conference Championship Meet. (refer to page 161). 6. - The use of tobacco in any form by coaches or team members during the contest is prohibited. OCC CHAMPIONSHIP MEET: 1. - The four Olympic Events (vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise) will be scored. 2. - Each school shall be allowed to enter a maximum of six competitors per event. Coaches may substitute for an injured gymnast after competition has begun. The replacement shall receive warm-up time equal to that given other competitors on that event at the directive of the tournament manager. 3. - Team scores shall be determined by adding the school's top four individual scores in each of the four events. 4. - All policies set forth by the OHSAA Gymnastics Board shall be followed. 5. - The host schools of boys and girls cross country, gymnastics, and swimming and diving shall be compensated $100.00 for each divisional contest hosted by their schools. See page 390 for managers and judges fees. CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP: 1. - The conference championship shall be determined by a combination of dual/tri meet results and the conference championship meet. a. - After all dual/tri meets are completed, points will be awarded as follows: 1st place team ................. 18 points
2nd place team ................. 16 points
3rd place team ................. 14 points
4th place team ................. 12 points
5th place team ................. 10 points
6th place team ................. 8 points
7th place team ................. 6 points
8th place team ................. 4 points
9th place team ................. 2 points b. - The conference championship meet results will be figured in the same manner and combined with the dual/tri meet results to determine the OCC championship.
