OHSFCA Announces 09 All-Academic Team |
|
January 10, 2009 - Columbus, Ohio |
Out of forty Teams that earned a spot on the 2009 Ohio High School Football
Coaches Association All-Academic Team, six were from the OCC. Pickerington
Central and New Albany were in the top ten. The Ohio Division produced the
most individual honorees with five (out of 66 selected).
2009 OHSFCA All-Academic Teams: Pickerington Central (Ohio) 5th @
3.721; New Albany (Capital) 9th @ 3.691; Olentangy (Cardinal) 17th @
3.576; Gahanna Lincoln (Ohio) 23rd at 3.537; Dublin Scioto
(Cardinal) 27th @ 3.505; Dublin Jerome (Cardinal) 36th @ 3.383.

OCC Realignment Beginning in September 2009... |

|
Beginning in the Fall of 2009 the Ohio Capital Conference will add another
Central Ohio "start up" High School to it's roster bringing the total number of
member schools to 32 (8 per Division). The OCC is currently one of the largest
"big school" conferences in the nation. |
